It’s 2005

It’s 2005 and I have so many plans for my writing career.

She’ll Learn (0-9703803-8-0) was re-released by Writers & Poets in November of 2004 and it has jumped off to a great start in the stores. Even though its success has been due to the power word of mouth communication, I am too pleased and blessed.

My second novel Candy for my Soul is on the fire now and sizzling with fiery new characters and a great storyline:

Candy isn’t your average independent career driven woman. Candy Mitchell grew up around her father, the street savvy hustler known as Big Candy. He instilled in her that she needed to love like a man in order to keep her heart from ever being broken. This has ringed true for Candy and basically all of her empty relationships, until the day Derrick Ross her on and off boyfriend and best friend breaks off their relationship completely. Candy never realized how much she loved and cared for this man until the day he reluctantly let her go. Derrick is ready for so much more in his life, things like having a wife and kids and he wants these things with the woman he loves, Candy. But, Candy wants to concentrate on becoming the newest executive in the firm and isn’t ready for such a commitment. Derrick walks out of her life and the adventure begins when she meets her definition of a “grown man” in her new client Noble Johnson. To get over Derrick, Candy begins dating Noble and is taken on an unexpected wild ride.
